BIO

Richard Nik Evans is an Art Director, Artist and Production Designer based in North London. He studied at Wimbledon School of Art, immersing himself in both film and art theory before completing his MA at Chelsea College of Art. He has had a distinguished career exhibiting internationally, from commercial galleries in New York and London to museums such as the Hermitage in Russia and the National Gallery of Australia. His short films White Light and CAGE have won multiple awards, each exploring a psychological relationship to space, memory and landscape. Evans brings this conceptual approach to storytelling into his work in film and television. He believes that structure, materials, carefully chosen props and architectural forms can respond to the script, helping to generate performances and compose images that elevate the story. His background in contemporary art shapes a design language that translates narrative into physical space, creating environments not bound by realism but by the unique rules of each story.
